In this article, I’ll try to show you how and where to place an advertisements on your pages. I’ll consider only content advertisements and feed advertising techniques. These are the most popular ways to make money online anyway.

AdSense for Contents

Contextual advertisements are actually a textual ads which can display you the most related and relative advertisements on your sites. On the other hand, graphical ads are an graphical banners (not text-based) which you can display and earn money through on your sites too.

You can use both services separately or even use them in combination. I will show you where’s the best place to put them all on your sites. You can use all popular format dimensions for each ad.

Contextual advertisements are text-only advertisements which you can see on many sites through the internet. Many bloggers and webmasters easily recognize them, and that’s why you need to make them to fit nicely into your website. Regarding to your theme color and design.

The very important thing is to design your advertisements to fit nicely on your site. Advertisement should looks like they’re a part of the website, using same colors as your site theme.

You can also choose where you should place an advertisement on your site feed. Of course, the most effective way is to place an advertisement in your post header.

This can be very useful technique specially for users which have many subscribers through RSS feed.
