This is one of the most common question among amateur and beginners into a blogging. So, here, I will try to answer you this question and you should know how much time to spend to quality create an article or post for your blog.

First of all, you should know what exactly is a quality article. To keep it short, a quality article is an article that have a great potential to draw your reader patience. Quality articles are commonly an articles that are helpful to the related audience and your potential readers.

Quality articles can get you a quality traffic from most sources on the internet. Including a great social-networking potential and a great visibility on search engines through the internet.

How to Create a Quality Article?

Quality before Quantity

You should take care to post a quality articles on your blog. Do not care about your word count and quantity of posts. You need to create a quality but easy-to-understand post that can suit your targeted audience.

Do not post too short and also too long posts at the same time. If you have a lot of information for that specific topic you examine, use a multiple posts and then connect them through the links in the footer/header of each post related to that specific topic you write about.

For some reason, many bloggers try to create as much articles (posts) they can. In most cases, they left behind a quality and even some valuable information, letting their readers to quickly unsubscribe their blog and start to find another one which have a more valuable information in each post.

When it comes to the quantity, first thing I could think are an auto-blogging software and applications. These blogs (applications) have a lot of posts but with only a few words in them (copy-pasted from other blogs).

I should note that this technique is not recommended – search engines, visitors and readers (if there are some) do not like them for sure. I think that these automatic-websites are created just to use a space on the internet – without some real value.

How Much Time to Spend

We are finally coming to the main part of this post – how much time should you spend to create a quality and effective, original and unique article?

This is not a question which is easy to answer. But, it certainly may depend on several factors:

Writing Skills – Of course, your writing skills may automatically affect how much time to spend to create a quality, unique and effective post or article on your blog or a website.
Article Length – Second most important factor, when it comes to the time is of course the length. You spend more time to think about (and write) a larger posts or articles.
Complex Articles – Logically, a complex posts takes more time to write than regular ones. They don’t need to be large but may explain your something hard and not-so-easy to understand.

These are only the main factors that can affect a post-creation process in general.

So, let’s say you want to create an article for your blog with 500 or more words. That time should depend on your writing skills and information you need to re-arrange into one post. Keep in mind that if you gather more information from more sources, you would probably create a quality article.

So, these are the numbers:

15 – 30 minutes to spend gathering and compiling all information you have found on the internet.
30 – 60 minutes to write an article from these sources.
10 minutes to check how it looks and correct mistakes if there are any.

So, you will need from 55 minutes to the hour and a half to create a quality article for your blog or a website. Of course, you can spend more or less – it is all depending on your skills in general.

Of course, you should need to take care about how much to update your blog with a quality article. Of course, if it is possible, try to post as much as you can. The more posts you publish per day, the more potential quality visitors (traffic) you would get for your blog.
