These above mentioned services are most popular blogging tools these days on internet. But, you need to know what’s exactly Blog and how much it can take your time, and of course how much you can earn from it.

Blogs are services that are constantly updated (by you or multiple authors). In most cases, blogs are much more updated than other kinds of internet sites. Blogging is media where you can write anything you want, and in most cases blogs have simple and user-friendly interface than most other web sites, portals, specially forums – giving visitors accurate and fast results from one page.

Web Sites are usually much more complicated for most webmasters (compared to blogs). They’re much harder to monetize and control than any other type of internet sites. Usually, they are not as much updated than average blogs.

Web Sites are specially useful for company, product, game and other kind of promotions. Example, if you want to promote your company or product on some domain, you won’t use blog as your primary service. Simply because you won’t update that much (and you don’t need to) more often. Because it’s based on some kind of static content. Usually, this kind of sites, doesn’t earn much – main purpose is self promotion.

Forums are much more complicated for webmasters than blogs or other sites, mostly because one reason – requires many good, quality and loyal members to success. There are many popular forums on internet that have thousands of active members for almost any topic you are interested in.

Forums requires loyal visitors which you need to attract to be active daily. Forum Scripts are based usually on registration, and to be honest I think that more visitors doesn’t like forums, specially beginners. That’s because Forums are usually more complicated to navigate through than web sites, specially blogs. But of course, you can create interesting and attractive forum and try to attract visitors and members on it. Once they find your forum useful and interesting, they will become your constant visitors, and of course, more visitors means more money!

After all it’s your decision what you will choose to create for first time. Of course, it depends on your needs and experience. Note that for every site, you need to have quality contents to attract more visitors! I also recommend you to update your sites as much as you can, because by this way you get more rankings in search engines and of course more traffic from those! Whatever you choose, it’s important to have patience and understanding, you won’t be popular over just one night believe me!
