If you visit and read this blog regularly, you would know that I write a lot of stuffs related to blogging and blog development in general. On this page I would try to help you to start your first own blog, providing you all necessary information how to create and maintain your blog.

Blogging is not an easy job or a hobby you might think it is. Blogging is actually much more than that – and all serious bloggers who maintain their own blog(s) knows that. If you want to build one, you need to know that at the first place.

  • Do I need to Pay for it? – One of the main reasons why blogs are so popular today is because they can be used completely for free, under your own domain or sub-domain name. There are number of reasons why you should create and start your own blog. But, I would include you a few important ones below:

  1. LEARN – Blog is a great way to learn a lot about websites, web development, SEO and of course a blogging. It can be used completely for free, giving you an unlimited options to discover the basics of websites and internet in general. Also, allowing you to learn something new about things you like and care about.
  2. EXPAND – Blogging gives you an opportunity to expand your own horizons in almost every single aspect of your life. If not, it is always good to know that you can write anything you want on your blog and publish your thoughts to potentially huge audience.
  3. HELP – If you already have a blog, and it gets some loyal readers it means you help them to achieve their own goals. For me, there is nothing better to know that someone is happy because of me, in any possible way.

A blog topic is the first thing you should think about before actually going to create your own blog. So much things depends on your niche selection, so you have to be careful when you are choosing the primary topic for a blog!

A niche directly affects your blog traffic and visitors, including the following:

  • Traffic potential – A niche may strongly affect your overall blog traffic potential. Giving you more (or less) traffic to your blog pages.
